Maggie joined Sugar Creek Capital in 2014 and has held several positions throughout the years, including Project Analyst, Acquisitions Manager, and now Director of Underwriting. As Director of Underwriting, Maggie works with the underwriting team to identify and mitigate risk in Sugar Creek’s investments while gaining approval from the Underwriting Committee and moving the projects toward closing.
Prior to joining Sugar Creek, Maggie worked for the City of St. Louis Community Development Administration, as well as RiseBoro, an affordable housing developer in Brooklyn, New York.
Maggie holds a BA in Political Science from Haverford College and an MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
She sits on several boards and enjoys advocating for affordable housing locally, although she is still trying to explain to her two young daughters what she does for a living.
