Kells Carroll serves as Director of Acquisitions with Sugar Creek Capital. His primary focus is to increase affordable housing state tax credit investment opportunities across the Southeast. Kells works with developers & federal syndicators to identify and underwrite tax credit acquisitions.
Previously, Kells served as Senior Vice President in the Affordable Housing Group for Community & Southern Bank and, before that, in other affordable housing lender roles. In addition to his role with Sugar Creek, Kells is a member of Board of Directors for the Council for Affordable & Rural Housing. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama, is active with his Church and serves as Scoutmaster for Troop 554. Kells resides in Smyrna, GA with his wife and children.
