Katie Cota is the Director of Investor Reporting at Sugar Creek Capital, where she oversees investor reporting, manages state tax credit filings, and supports the allocation of $3 billion+ in affordable housing credits across multiple states. She partners with state and local agencies to strengthen affordable housing programs and leads the advancement of Sugar Creekâs Salesforce platform to improve efficiency and reporting for investors.
Katie brings more than a decade of experience in accounting and investor relations, including seven years in public accounting with Frazier & Deeter, where she specialized in tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth families and passthrough entities. She is a licensed CPA, an active member of the AICPA, and serves on the Leadership Council of the Georgia Society of CPAs. Katie values building trusted relationships with CPAs, wealth advisors, and investors, and enjoys sharing her knowledge to educate others on state tax credits.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys yoga, family time, and coastal getaways to the Gulf.
