Hampton’s responsibilities include state tax credit sales, identifying and acquiring tax credit equity investments, and developing new markets.
Prior to joining Sugar Creek in 2012, Hampton was a tax partner at the accounting firm CohnReznick. His diverse public accounting experience includes providing tax planning, consulting and compliance services to developers, owners, syndicators, managers and funds in the affordable housing, multifamily housing and commercial real estate sectors. He also has tax and business experience with partnerships, LLCs, corporations, S-corporations and high net-worth individuals.
Hampton received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Georgia. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
